Synopsis: Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, “Thor,” which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. Synopsis: DYLAN DOG: DEAD OF NIGHT is a new horror/comedy film based on one of the world's most popular comics (60 million copies worldwide). CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER (2011) - Second Trailer and Posters

Official Synopsis: Captain America: The First Avenger" will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving.) 

Release Date: July 22, 2011.

CAPTAIN AMERICA (2011) - 'Behind the Shield' Featurette

The Featurette sets up the backstory of the character and gives us plenty of details about the concept and making of the Shield, Captain America's tool of inflicting justice on the bad guys. It's a bit annoying how Norton conceived their product placement in the featurette. The whole buy-me concept is completely wasted on me, though. I use Avira. "Captain America: The First Avenger" comes out on July 22, 2011.

GREEN LANTERN (2011) - Four New TV Spots

Here are three new TV Spots for "Green Lantern", the highly anticipated comic book adaptation from director Martin Campbell ("Casino Royale", "Edge of Darkness"). The clips offer some new footage mixed in with everything we've already seen in the countless spots and trailers that came before. One of them even brags about how enthusiastic critics are about this movie, by way of those eloquent one-word quotes. The early reviews I've been reading are far from being as postivie as Warner Brothers wants us to believe they are, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. The movie opens in theaters this week, as announced by another one of the TV Spots which signals the 3-day countdown. COWBOYS & ALIENS - Extended TV Trailer

The new trailer for "Cowboys & Aliens" was first showed as an exclusive sneak peek during this year's Spike TV Awards. It shows plenty of fresh footage in addition to everything we've already seen from the trailers and TV Spots. For those hearing about this movie for the first time, this is a no-nonsense mix between old-school western and alien invasion sci-fi, directed by Jon Favreau ("Iron Man 1 & 2"), based on a graphic novel, produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Paul Dano and Sam Rockwell. The movie opens on July 29, 2011, in the US.

GREEN LANTERN - 7 New Movie Clips

Needless to say, the seven new movie clips from "Green Lantern" provide an excellent first look at the movie. You have it all: plot, action and great visual effects. The movie, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong will open on June 17, 2011 in the US and the UK. New on Blu-Ray - SUPERMAN: THE MOTION PICTURE ANTHOLOGY (1978-2006)

The highly anticipated Superman Blu-Ray Anthology has arrived and it is loaded with goodies that fans will surely appreciate. The package contains 8 discs which feature the five movies in the franchise :"Superman The Movie" (including the expanded edition), "Superman II" (also contains the Richard Donner Cut), "Superman III", "Superman IV: Quest for Peace", and "Superman Returns", plus a bonus disc. There are supposedly over 20 hours of bonus features, but who's gonna start counting. The package should be a treat, but unfortunately I can't get over the fact that the third and fourth movies were...well...bad, which kind of takes away the fun of the Anthology concept. For those of you unwilling to pay money for this, you can also find the movies as separate releases, and if you're looking for a similar DVD collection, you can check out the "Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition"
