Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Furne One of Amato Haute Couture made waves in the international fashion scene anew when his creations were recently worn by top female pop performers Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry.

According to posts on Amato Couture’s Facebook page on June 13, Lopez wore a sparkly short dress by Amato while performing her hits “On the Floor” and “I’m Into You” during the Capital FM Summertime Ball 2011. According to the official website of Capital FM – dubbed as "the UK’s #1 hit music station” – the annual music fest was held on June 12 at London’s famed Wembley Stadium.

On the other hand, Perry has, on numerous occasions, wore colorful Amato creations in her performances during her “California Dreams Tour 2011,” which began in February this year and will run until November. The tour covers countries in Europe, Australasia, Asia, and the North and South America.

Perry was also seen in an Amato mini dress when she presented an award in Australia’s 2011 TV Week Logie Awards held on May 1.

According to Amato’s official website, One’s brand “caters exclusively to an elite Arab clientele.” But despite this exclusive clientele, Hollywood and equally fashionable circles in Europe obviously can't ignore One's amazing creations.

More from the website, the designer credits his popularity across the international fashion scene to supermodel and “Germany’s Next Top Model” host Heidi Klum. This is after Klum first invited him in 2009 to create the gowns worn by the 18 finalists in one of the show’s episodes, garnering One “assignments from well-known European celebrities” that had him working in Europe for some time.

This year, One was once again invited to design for “Germany’s Next Top Model,” as seen in photos posted also on June 13 on Amato’s Facebook page.

Perhaps One’s most talked-about show locally was the "First of One—A Fashion Collection by Furne One" in October last year where, according to a report posted on Spot.ph in the same month, a number of models slipped as they walked on a slippery runway. It was reportedly even called by some of the show’s guests as the “fall” collection. Nevertheless, the show was praised by personalities such as Tim Yap and Rajo Laurel.

A source told Us Weekly Magazine that Marc Anthony is "begging" J.Lo to "take him back."

It's been a month since singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced they were getting a divorce, and while J.Lo is starting to move on with her life, things don't seem to be going so well on the other side of the spectrum.

An insider told Us Weekly Magazine that Marc Anthony has allegedly been having a hard time coping with the whole situation. "His mood shifts from blaming her to begging her to take him back to telling her she is destroying his life," the source is quoted as saying. He is also reportedly "being difficult on every point" when it comes to the divorce process. "He wants to prolong things, so [Jennifer Lopez] reconsiders."

But despite Marc Anthony's mood swings, another Us Weekly source reveals J.Lo remains steadfast in her wish to end their marriage. "She is very happy," the insider says. "She is surrounded by love."

Fox says Jennifer Lopez back for 'American Idol'

LOS ANGELES - Jennifer Lopez has signed up for a second season as a judge on "American Idol", Fox television officials said on Wednesday, ending months of speculation about her return.

Lopez will join Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and record producer Randy Jackson for the 11th season of the singing talent show which will begin airing on January 22, Fox said.

"Having both Jennifer and Steven return to 'Idol' in 2012 alongside Randy is such a positive reflection on what was a wonderful and hugely successful season last year, and everyone is delighted," the show's creator Simon Fuller said in a statement.

Lopez had said earlier this summer that she was undecided about whether to sign on for a second season of the top-rated singing show, which boosted its audiences last season after revamping the panel.

"American Idol" also has been good for the actress and singer, whose career had slumped since she took time off to have twins in 2008.

She topped People magazine's "most beautiful" list earlier this year and had a top 10 hit with her dance single "On the Floor." However, Lopez announced in July that she was divorcing her husband of seven years, Latin singer Marc Anthony. - Reuters

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony split after failing to "see eye-to-eye" on Scientology.

The "On The Floor" hitmaker—who called time on her seven-year marriage to the singer last month—was reportedly hoping to send the couple's three-year-old twins Max and Emme to a specialist Scientology school. However, Marc wasn't so keen on the idea.

A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Jennifer and Marc couldn't see eye-to-eye on the subject. She's always been more into the church than him. He wasn't a huge fan and it caused problems."

The 42-year-old star recently admitted she wished people wouldn't judge the Scientology religion—also followed by Jennifer's close friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes—before they know what it is.

She said: "I just wish that people wouldn't judge it without knowing what it is."

Despite the couple's shock split, Jennifer claimed she will remain an "eternal optimist" and is still confident about finding love again.

She recently explained: "This was the hardest decision I've ever had to face. I really wanted this family to work.

"That was my biggest dream, and I worked hard at it. We both did. Sometimes it doesn't work—and that's sad.

"But I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love... It's still my biggest dream."

Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe, in an interview on "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest's radio show, was asked whether Lopez would return for an 11th season, and he said yes.

"I believe we're still waiting for the official announcements, but I'm delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of 'American Idol,' are back for the next season," Lythgoe told Seacrest.

Lopez returns to join longtime "Idol" judge Randy Jackson and rocker Steven Tyler, the Aerosmith frontman.

Her decision to rejoin the No. 1-rated U.S. TV show has been the source of much speculation in Hollywood since the singer said earlier this summer that she was undecided.

Indeed, just last week at a meeting of television critics in Los Angeles, top programming executives for the Fox network, which airs "Idol," were tight-lipped on the subject.

Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly told reporters that he had no headline-making announcements -- "maybe like confirm Jennifer Lopez or something. No luck there."

Showbiz news web site TheWrap.com has reported that Lopez had already closed a deal that would pay her just over $20 million to return for the upcoming season, which will begin in January. - Reuters
