Be sure and keep a sinister faced jack-o-lantern on your front stoop to ward them off, and keep your eye on the skies, for Wicked Witches like to swoop down on their broomsticks and rake at your eyes with their long fingernails/talons.
Never, never, stare directly at the face of a witch, for that is a sure way to have the curse of lifetime debt placed upon yourself.
And lastly, when in the Produce Section of the Supermarket, be sure and avoid the poisonous apples that are in the pile.
You can spot the poison apples, because they are rubiginous, and the most perfect and appealing.
