Hotel heiress and all-around media pop star Paris Hilton arrived on a drizzling Sunday night aboard an Emirates Airlines flight from Dubai, welcomed by a throng of international and local press.
She is on a five-day visit to Manila, where she is scheduled to meet with executives of real-estate firm Century Properties inviting her to design its upcoming “urban resort” named Azure in Parañaque City. The celebrity was tapped to jazz up the property’s beach club.
Hilton, heiress of the Hilton hotel empire, will also be opening her namesake luxury store at SM Megamall on Aug. 18.
Malacañang has yet to confirm if Hilton would meet President Aquino, although earlier reports suggested a meet-and-greet might take place.
Paris Hilton will make her only stop at the SM Megamall for the opening of the Paris Hilton Megamall shop on August 18, after which there will be a meet and greet at 4 p.m. at the Mega Atrium. Every purchase of a Paris Hilton bag will entitle you to a raffle coupon and a chance to meet and greet Paris Hilton at SM Megamall.
In the store, Paris Hilton presents the latest collection of affordable luxury goods by her namesake collection of handbags and accessories.
“I love this collection; it’s one of our best ones so far,” says Paris. “I was very inspired by old Hollywood glamour as well as the trends of new celebrities. For fall, I wanted a very luxurious and eye-catching collection, so we used sequins and reflective materials and mixed it with faux fur, patent, faux ostrich and crocodile. For the toned down, everyday styles I chose shiny and appliqués. I love it so much!’’
Available in over 2.500 points of sale and 31 Paris Hilton signature stores around the world, Paris Hilton’s collection of handbags and accessories is designed for fashion conscious, fabulous women who will love the sizzling additions for fall.
