UTC: We are very excited to have you with us today and thank you so much for participating in our Burning Up July event!! When did you first realize you wanted to write, and how did you get started?
It was about twenty years ago, while living in a town with a population of 800, that I first tried my hand at writing. I wasn’t one of those people who knew since childhood that they wanted to write. I did, however, like to make up elaborate stories to tell my friends. While they all used to call me a big fat liar, I believe I was just honing my skills. <G>
UTC: What is it about erotica romance that appeals to you?
I love to watch a woman blossom and embrace her sexuality without guilt or embarrassment.
UTC: Your erotica covers a wide variety of stories, paranormal, and more. What is your favorite type of story to write and why?
I’d have to say paranormal because of the freedom in making up worlds, but I do love a good old contemporary story as well, especially ones where couples are reunited.
UTC: Who would you say is your all-time favourite character? It can be your characters or another author's and why.
Oh, that is such a tough one because I fall in love with ever character I write as well as every character I read. So having said that, right now my favourite character is Cole Landon, from the story I’m working on now, Bad Girl Therapy which is the third book in Boys of Beachville Series from Samhain.
UTC: Wild, Wet & Wicked in Whispering Cove just released June 7. Are there plans for another collaboration of the Wicked Writers anytime soon?
Oooh, we LOVE these stories so much and had such a wonderful time collaborating and writing them. I know I would LOVE to do another series with these talented ladies who were so much fun to work with. I definitely think they’d be on board too, so stay tuned for more!
UTC: You write novels as Taylor Keating as well. What is the main difference between your two pen names? Do you prefer writing with one pen name over the other?
Cathryn Fox is erotica romance, Taylor Keating is Paranormal romance. It’s sensuous romance but not erotic. Not only do I co-write Taylor Keating books, I didn’t want my Cathryn Fox readers to pick up Game Over, Mind Games, or the third book which is coming next April, and be disappointed because they were expecting something else.
UTC: What can you tell us about your upcoming book Good at Being Bad?
Love this story! This is the first book in the Boys of Beachville series. These are fun, sexy stories about three men, Mr. July, Mr August and Mr. September, who are all posing for the charity calendar. Wait to you see what kind of trouble they get themselves in to, especially when the meet their matches.
UTC: Time for the fun questions! Complete this sentence: One fun thing about me that people might not know is...
I never say no to a chocolate brownie. LOL
UTC: What is your greatest weakness (chocolate, shoes, etc?)
Salty potato chips!
UTC: Thank you so much for stopping by today and for offering our readers an opportunity to win a wonderful book!
In Fox's titillating new series we enter Serene, a supernatural playground where sexy shape shifters live behind the white picket fences...
Free spirited Jaclyn Vasenty is about to inherit a cosmetics empire, yet her scandalous personal history may ruin her chance for a corporate take-over. Saying goodbye to her naughty ways, she moves into a quaint gated community in Serene, New Hampshire. But these gates are locked at sunset...
The town's dark sensuality rocks Jaclyn's insatiable appetite to the core-and stirs desires that are... inhuman. That's because Serene is home to demons, witches, vampires, lycans, and panthers, for whom primal exploration comes naturally. Especially for shape shifter Slyck, the cunning panther who's pushing Jaclyn to the brink of erotic possibilities and making her feel wildly...feral. As tension between species rises, Jaclyn learns she must draw on all her feminine wiles and join forces with Slyck if she wants to make it out alive.
