Charlie Sheen's "Two and a Half Men" character Charlie Harper may be gone from CBS' hit sitcom, but according to Radar Online, the character may continue to live on on television. Sort of.

A source told the website that the actor has signed a deal with Lionsgate Television for a new sitcom, and that the character he'll play will be like playboy Charlie Harper. The only difference? The show may be a lot raunchier.

"Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front-runner," the source told Radar." Cable makes more sense because it offers more creative freedom. In other words, the show can be raunchier and more outrageous."

The source also revealed to the website that Lionsgate has committed to10 episodes, and if the show does well, another 90 episodes.

Lionsgate has not yet responded to TODAY.com's request for a comment.

Sheen made headlines earlier this year when he slammed "Men" and creator Chuck Lorre, then continued his downward spiral in the media after the show was shut down and he was fired. The sitcom has since replaced him with Ashton Kutcher, who will be introduced in a new role.
