DOES ANYONE OUT THERE EVEN BOTHER TO WATCH TV ANYMORE?

For Michelle Obama:

This is England

Parts of England are very beautiful and dreamy.

I have never been there,  but in some ways, it all seems better in the imagination anyway.

As a Brit once told me with total confidence:
England IS that beautiful!
I really wish I could walk into the screen and into this picture, with my dogs all aside.
 Who else would not?

And there we would all live for a thousand years or maybe two or ten,
until we said enough, and  .......

(with tea time of course)

The TV?

The manual Typewriter?

The Rotary Telephone?

I mean, I got rid of my TV a couple of weeks ago, intending to buy a new flat screen one, when I finally got the money for the purchase of one.

But............. after a couple of weeks, I don't even miss the Television!

So who cares about Oprah or Ellen?  They belong on Sunset Boulevard along with Nora Desmond, and should let their fingernails grow into crazy claws.

Who cares about the Nightly News?

All that stuff is controlled by the people that stand to profit from it all anyway.

Blogger on Dudes! (Until the CONTROLLERS  shut us down, that is, which hopefully will be never, but one never knows :)

Maybe WE THE PEOPLE  bloggers can create a better world, in the wake of  the devastation left by the Boomers and the Hippies.

Who knows?

There is a quote from Oscar Wilde I am trying to find , and when I do will add) .....something about the Lord Warburton telling Dorain Gray or maybe it was Basil halliward about how the greatest events in history being the introduction of a new medium for expression or art..........

Maybe this is it kids!

Maybe Blogging is it! So do it well!

The hearts and minds of a Nation need to be heard.

Leadership needs to hear the hearts and minds of its "Constituents" to be expressed and heard.

Put your hands in your pants and pull out a nickel, (If you  are so lucky) and try to explore the world of who is was our Nation felt the need to put upon the face of that piece of worthless metal, warmed up to your body temperature, that you see there.

It is a whole wonderful world to explore!

But, of course, and in the end,  the good old fashioned book will always have its proper place.
Books are good, and solid and stable, Like a proper Lady of Responsibility,

....and, thinking about it some more,  even if that responsibility encompasses a duty of being cast in the unenviable role of the betrothed to a Great Overlord, and heir,  to an even greater irresponsibility......trying to figure a way out of the mess..............

A heavy burden.

A shouldered and reluctant duty for her, for sure. An unenviable task.

A Lady to a Gentleman, which Mr. Obama has certainly proved that he is; a quality that so many from across the aisle have tried to test BTW, and in a not so savory form.

Anyway, this is 2 cents from a big Rsh and Hannity painterguy listener.

But, as Scarlett O'Hara said: "Tomorrow is another day"  and maybe there is a way out of this mess.

So as for TV, in spite of it's oft vaunted, by thems with vested interests potential.....Does it win or lose now?

Or to soon to say so?

But I ain't gonna plop down a G for the same old TV Crap.

Why should I?

Even  the TCM channel is mostly stretching and with clinkers by now.
