Trying it out.

I've decided to go into new territory.

I used to read Danielle Steel all the time. When I was a teenager, I would read her books and daydream about how romantic love and marriage was....

*Snort* Well. Not so much. I mean, don't get me wrong...I adore my nerd and kids! But, my life is certainly not a Danielle Steel novel. That's for DAYUM sure.

After a while, I gave up on Danielle steel. I moved on to the likes of Kristan Higgins, Jodi Picoult, Jennifer Weiner, and Jennifer Crusie...and more. But, after the prompting of a friend, I decided to give Ms. Steel another chance. She has two books out that I want to read, but I decided to start with Family Ties.

My plan is to start it tonight. Here's hoping for all sorts of delectable romance and a gripping story line. Maybe Danielle Steel will sell me on romanticism once again.....
