No news is good news. Unless you're being ignored.

I just went and got the mail. There were no rejections to my queries today, and for a second I thought to myself, "Well, no news, is good news, right?" And then I remembered slush piles. Well...I guess no news can, in fact, be bad news. It means I am getting ignored. *SIGH* Gabe and Dillon, someday your love story will be out there for all to enjoy. I promise. Well, I don't promise that exactly, but I do promise that I'll keep trying. Now I am talking to fictional characters like people in the room with me. I've lost it. Officially. Well, not officially. I haven't gotten a badge or a certificate or anything. I suppose that would mean I'd officially lost it. I'll keep and eye out in the mail for that badge. I'm sure it's coming......along with the rest of my rejections. ;)
