Nathalie Daoust
Canadian photographer Nathalie Daoust's in-depth, long term studies of places most never see, are fascinating. An example:
"Spending several months in the Alpha In, one of the biggest S&M “love hotels” in Japan. Daoust photographed 39 women in their private rooms, surrounded by the specialist equipment and dressed in the regalia that define their trade." - From Tokyo Hotel Story
Photographically, she further pushes boundaries by using experimental darkroom techniques and 3-D imagery.
