I'm on a business trip out of town, flew out yesterday and will fly back home tomorrow. I'm tucked in my hotel room, watching Oprah, reading Girl Game and typing a blog post while drinking a Margarita. That's the extent of my responsibilities at the moment. It feels luxurious, decadent even. Nothing else to do but relax.
I got felt-up at the airport yesterday. Nothing exciting or gina tingling cuz it was airport security who did it. A male guard decided it would be funsies I suppose to call over a female guard and make me hold my arms out while my hips, waist and butt were patted for contraband. He made me take my off my hat, remove my sweater and turn a slow circle. I'm pretty comfortable with myself so not the worst thing to happen but I wonder how shy women would feel. It could be very degrading and humiliating if you're not used to attention, you'd feel like everyone was watching and I can imagine one could feel shame.
I was late boarding and had to walk the full length of the plane with 90% of the passengers already seated. I'm enough of an attention hound to realize I enjoyed the attention as I slowly made my way down the aisle with my carry-on luggage. I made delicious eye contact with an attractive man and gave him a dimpled smile just to let him know I was enjoying his attention. He was gone by the time I made it off the plane, I wonder if I should have stopped to talk with him? Nah, it would go against my nature to stop simply because I'm not that bold. I can give the flirty glances like a champion, but always need the approach before I'll talk. So dudes take my advice and approach the next pretty girl who gives you the eye.
